What is Included:

A professional, experienced crew of 2-5 people is reserved and scheduled to install your pool.

A complete installation from excavation to starting to add water to your pool.

We supply all the materials needed. (Sand, blocks, tools, and equipment)

0-6 inches of grading is included in the pricing listed above. If six or fewer inches are needed to bring the pool site level, you will not owe any other money to install your pool. If more grading is required to get the area level, you will be charged an additional $35/ per inch.

We will pile the excavated dirt within 25ft in any direction of the pool site. We will not move it further than that.

We build and install your pump, filter, and skimmer and have them all plumbed together.

What To Expect:

Install dates can change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, so we do not recommend taking time off work that cannot be easily rescheduled on short notice. We will give notice of any changes as soon as we realize there is an issue.

You will receive a call from us in the early evening(4 pm-6 pm) the day before your install date, and we will give you a time window to expect us the following day. Typical time windows are 7:30 am-9:30 am (Early job) and 12-2 pm (Afternoon job)

An average Job Takes 4-7 hours, depending on the size of the pool and the amount of excavation needed.

A 2–5-person crew and 2-3 work vehicles will be there.

Pool Envy will use a Bobcat with rubber tracks to shuttle sand from a dump truck to the pool site. Normally 8+ trips are needed through the yard to complete the job.

Excavation Costs- GRADING Policy- The first 6 inches of grading is free/included. After that, a rate of $35/per inch will be charged. That is a payment made to us by cash or check on the day of installation.

It cannot be added to your bill with The Great Escape.

SINKING Policy- No sinking is free/included; its rate is $70/per inch. If you are replacing a pool and need us to sink the new pool to match up with a preexisting deck, there will be some sinking charges.
There is always more dirt removed and piled up than is expected. We’ve been doing this a long time, and it can still surprise us, so working on a plan for it early may help. We can pile the dirt in any direction of the pool site up to 25 feet from the site. We cannot move it further than that. We have a couple of other services we offer that you can look into regarding the dirt, but they are done at a later date if you are interested.

If you have a dump truck or a dump trailer, we are not opposed to loading the truck or trailer for you as long as it can be done safely and if they can be near the pool site, but once we begin the excavation, we do not stop and wait for anything to get taken to a dump site no matter how close the dump location may be. Typically, we will load what you have one time, and after that, we will need an area within 25 feet to pile the remaining dirt.

What is NOT included:

We do not remove any of the excavated dirt during the installation.

We do not backfill your swimming pool. We do offer backfilling as a separate service, but on a standard install, it is the homeowner's responsibility to backfill their pool.

The installation of any products that are not new or purchased from The Great Escape. This includes used or new heaters, pumps, and filters purchased from someone or another store, as well as materials that go under liners or on walls behind liners, such as happy bottoms.

Your Responsibilities:

You are responsible for the wear and tear of our equipment in your yard. The more saturated the yard, the more damage will be done typically

You are responsible for our equipment’s path through your yard to the pool area. Anything damaged under the surface of the yard during excavation or driving through the yard is the homeowner’s responsibility, so it is up to you to provide us with a safe path to drive the equipment.

Our equipment is roughly 6 feet from track edge to track edge. You must have a minimum of 6.5 ft clearance to the pool site. Fences need to be removed before our arrival. We do not take down or put back fencing.

We prefer not to drive on anyone else’s property to enter your property. If there is no other choice, we first ask you to speak to the property owner; we must have a statement and signature permitting us to access their property. You are responsible for any damages that may occur on their property

You are responsible for the cleanup around the pool area after the installation. This includes backfilling the pool, the remaining piled-up dirt, damage to the yard, and the disposal of the boxes the pool comes in.

You are responsible for initially contacting OUPS at 811. This is the "Call Before You Dig" line. Depending on who answers the phone there, you may hear different things like "the contractor needs to call, not the homeowner"; this is only partially accurate. Please tell them you want to "Start a ticket". They will ask you a series of questions, some of which we cannot answer. When you are done, they will give you a 9-digit ticket number. Please text your name, address, and ticket number to 330-316-2786; we will then call in and get added to the ticket. This is how both of us are protected during the excavation process.

WATER DELIVERY- (Only applies to homeowners that don't plan on using their water from a hose) We recommend you call and get quotes and choose the water hauler so you know what you are paying and they have information on your job. Please inform them this is a new installation and the expected install date. We cannot give out accurate times for the delivery of the water until the day of the installation. Please inform us of the hauler you are using when we arrive to install your pool, and we will contact the hauler and coordinate the delivery time then. If the hauler you have chosen needs a time frame, the best we can do is ballpark it the night before. If this is the case, please tell us when we call you in the evening the day before the installation, and we will give you our best estimate.

Note- If you have yet to schedule water in advance, we typically can get a water hauler to you on the day of installation on short notice if your job is local to Canton. We cannot guarantee this because it depends on the water hauler's schedule, but typically if you inform us when we arrive to install your pool, we can assist you in getting water delivered if needed.
